One of our Property Managers sent the following account
of their recent experience for your benefit in avoiding the same scenario.
"Please protect yourself from this family. He is a heavy man, with dark hair and she is a middle aged woman that has dark hair. He does most of the talking and tends to get in your face to try to intimidate you when he speaks. He claims to be a pastor who is trying to find short term housing for his ill 'sister' (Diane) who is supposedly undergoing chemotherapy.
After assisting in housing them for one month, they checked out leaving the place a complete disaster including but not limited to various broken furniture pieces. The home was completely covered in filth, the appliances were disgusting and the carpets left a mess. They smoked in the home and apparantly there were more than just two people in the condo.
Remember, if it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't so be cautious!"
